Summary: We conducted a Spanish national survey of 2,000 families to understand the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the nutrition and health of children in Spain. In the study, we compare the results with the National Health Survey of Spain carried out in 2017. The research shows that almost 28.1% of those under 18 years of age would be overweight and/or obese in Spain after COVID -19, a similar proportion to that before the pandemic, which stood at 27.6%. This situation can be aggravated by the increase in the prices of vegetables and fruits as a result of the recent runaway inflation.

Summary: This study analyzes four programs of the Public Employment Service of Castilla y León, which total more than 30 million euros executed in the year analyzed. The study is divided into two blocks: the first analyzes two programs through an evaluation of design and procedures, an evaluation of monitoring indicators and information systems, and an impact evaluation on employability and the quality of employment. The second block carries out an impact evaluation on the employability of workers in the two other programs. Finally, the study presents a series of proposals for improvement.

Summary: After conducting a Spanish national survey of 2,000 families on the mental health of their children, the report indicates that the incidence of these problems is three times higher (10%) in unemployed families than families that have kept their jobs (3%) after the COVID-19 crisis. Furthermore, children and adolescents living in low-income households are 4 times more likely (13%) to suffer from mental and/or behavioral disorders than those living in high-income households (3%). Also in the poorest households there is a greater proportion of migrant children who have a higher incidence of mental and/or behavioral disorders.

Summary: It aims to review the set of reform proposals for the Spanish local financing model that have been developed over the last decade. In the case of municipalities, this review refers to the two key pieces of the model: the resources that come from their tax basket and the resources that come from transfers granted by other administrations. And in the case of supra-municipal administrations, it basically refers to the transfers they receive from other levels of government.

Summary: This evaluation aims at identifying whether pupils that participated in any of these two programs improved the competences that the programs are aiming at improving. It also looks at whether the improvement is stable over time, increases or vanishes. Apart from the impact evaluation, the project also looks at the implementation process, the adequacy of the tools used to the objective of the programs and the teachers’ satisfaction with them.
